It is easy enough to use for the novice in WYSIWYG mode, but there are tons of other features that help out with designs. One feature is the expanded tables view, this adds padding to nested tables to let you easily select and modify. It also has a bunch of easy ways to connect to dynamic content, and code snippets in the library. I believe a new feature allow for real time editing(so you can see changes while you design). I started in Adobe Pagemill, went to FrontPage, then to Dreamweaver. Been there ever since. Hope this helps.
